In support of continuing Sovos Brands’ industry-leading growth, we are expanding our Sales team, adding a number of new roles in 2023.

      Job Responsibilities

      • Responsible for the creation and ongoing maintenance of all pricing tools. Including EDLP, base price, promo price, and frequency of promotions of our brands and competition.
      • Deliver account level insights on pricing and promotional depth/frequency to internal Strategy and Field Sales teams. Partnering with Sales Strategy to shape and develop Field promotional plans.
      • Monitor and leverage elasticities and pricing sensitivities within our categories, for both Sovos and competitors' Brands.
      • Develop a long-term pricing action plan by channel and product group; ensure price slopes are optimized based on marketplace and competitive pricing; provide recommendations for Sovos list pricing actions regarding timing.
      • Develop and deliver pricing-related presentations to sales and management teams.
      • Identify the most effective pricing strategies to grow revenue while increasing profit margins.
      • Conduct data and statistical analysis for pricing models and create cost and expenses forecasting.
      • Responsible for system and forecast maintenance around pricing activities and guidelines.
      • Aid in margin-based decision at the corporate level through data modeling and scenario planning.

      Skills & Values Requirements

      • Proficiency in quantitative analysis and numerical reasoning, with a strong command of mathematical concepts and methodologies.
      • Ability to leverage multiple data sources, identify key opportunities, and create action-oriented insights.
      • Understanding of the CPG industry, customer buying behaviors, and competitive landscape.
      • Demonstrated ability to analyze financial data, interpret complex financial statements, and develop financial models. Strong financial acumen, including a deep understanding of accounting principles and financial metrics.
      • Ability to communicate insights and recommended actions to stakeholders across the organization, including senior leadership, sales teams, and customers.
      • Ability to think strategically, anticipate future trends, and identify opportunities to enhance the company’s competitive position.
      • Ability to work successfully and efficiently in conditions which include multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities.

      Minimum Requirements

      • Related bachelor’s degree and at least 5-7 years of successful CPG Revenue Management and/or general trade analytics
      • Demonstrated knowledge of pricing models and scenario planning. Proficient knowledge of trade planning software and syndicated data
      • Advanced Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

      Location Requirements or Preferences

      • Remote, with expectation to meet in person on a semi-regular basis

      Reporting Structure

      • Reports to Senior Manager, Net Revenue
